Get Ready for PR Unplugged: Student Takeover on April 16
Communications professionals are invited to take part in a collaborative networking experience designed to bridge the gap between industry leaders and the next generation of talent.
Hosted by the Florida Public Relations Association Volusia/Flagler Chapter in partnership with the Bethune-Cookman University FPRA Vision Student Chapter, PR Unplugged: Student Edition will take place on April 16 at Bethune-Cookman University inside the Center for Civic Engagement’s Graduate Seminar Room.
The program, sponsored by Sodexo, offers a fresh take on professional development by combining speed networking, skill-sharing sessions, and career-focused discussions. The event is designed to foster meaningful dialogue between experienced practitioners and university students preparing to enter the field.
Attendees will have the opportunity to share industry insights, learn directly from Gen Z perspectives, and help mentor future professionals while expanding their own networks.
Registration is $30 for FPRA members, $40 for non-members, and $15 for students. Lunch is included with registration. Walk-ins are permitted, though meal availability is not guaranteed without advance registration.
Participants are encouraged to register by April 3, 2026.
