Join the Volusia/Flagler Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association and the American Advertising Federation – Daytona Beach on Thursday, June 18, for a Behind the Scenes tour of the $32 million renovation of historic Jackie Robinson Ballpark and presentation on the Daytona Tortugas’ marketing and public relations initiatives.
“Behind the Scenes: Daytona Tortugas Renovations at The Jack” will feature Jim Jaworski, President and General Manager, and Logan LeCras, Club Services Manager, at Daytona Tortugas Professional Baseball.
This professional development luncheon, set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 18 at the ballpark at the intersection of City Island Parkway and Orange Avenue (across from the Volusia County Courthouse Annex) in Daytona Beach.
Enjoy lunch at the new Player Development Facility, then tour the new two-story building that includes locker rooms, training complex, boardroom, offices, batting cages, the Jackie Robinson Museum, and the Daytona Beach Club with suite-style event space and an outside terrace both for fans on game days and private rentals. Renovations are also under way in the Jackie Robinson Ballpark Stadium.
