Unlock Executive Media Mastery: Media Training for the C-Suite

Join the Volusia/Flagler Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 18 to elevate your media communication skills to the level.

Navigating the media landscape is a crucial skill for any executive, but mastering it doesn't come automatically with the title. This month, we're offering an essential workshop aimed at executives and PR professionals tasked with preparing their C-suite executives for media interactions. Whether you're training a CEO, CFO, or any leadership role beginning with "C", this workshop is designed to elevate your training techniques to new heights.

Participants will learn from Joel Staley, owner and founder of JCS Communications, LLC, Orlando. As a multilingual public relations professional with more than 25 years of experience, Joel Staley is an expert at training C-suite executives and brand spokespersons to deliver effective media interviews, public speeches and sales presentations. Staley, a 2016 Public Relations Society of America Florida Radiance Award winner, worked as senior vice president of brand and external communications for Seacoast Bank, as a public relations director for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and as an account leader for global public relations firms Edelmanand Burson Cohn & Wolfe. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and attended DeLand High School.

The professional development luncheon will be held in the Dennis McGee Room at the Daytona Beach International Airport. REGISTER HERE by noon on April 16 at fpravf.org. Lunch is included in the cost of $30 for members, $40 for non-members, and $15 for students. Walk-ins are accepted but lunch is not guaranteed.
